Q: When is South Gulf Cove going to get new entrance signs?
A: The organization responsible for the Entrance signs is the SGC Advisory Board. The building of the signs has become and should be done by the end of April 2010. The funding of these signs comes out of Charlotte County Street
and Drainage MSBU tax.
Q: What do I need to do to build a home in SGC?
A: In order to build a home you must submit a Architectural Review Application, full set of architectural plans, site plan, exterior colors of the home and roof, roofing material to the Architectural Review Committee. Please refer to our site and click on ARC Info/ Forms.
Q: Are there any deed restrictions regarding fences in SGC?
A: Yes, but only if your property is on a corner lot. Please contact the ARC for more information at 697-7523.
Q: Does South Gulf Cove have a mandatory HOA?
A: No, membership in the HOA is strictly voluntary.
Q: Do you have any deed restrictions for landscaping?
A: No, however, you would have to comply with Charlotte
County Landscaping Codes.
Q: Why can't we use the sandwich board signs?
A: According to Charlotte County Code Compliance, the signs are in violation of the sign ordinance.
